The mission of Tournament Games is to provide the best online Game entertainment possible. In addition to providing fun and entertaining games and tournaments, we also strive to provide a family atmosphere where you or any of your family members will feel safe and secure while playing at our site. We do not allow offensive usernames or discussions concerning controversal subject matter including but not limited to violence, drugs, sex, religion, race, hate, and politics. We want everyone to be able to have fun at our site.

At our site players are competing against each other in game tournaments in games of skill (Solitaire, etc ). There is a winner each tournament and we (Tournament Games) have no control or influence in who wins. That is determined 100% by the scores that the players post. There are No GAMBLING or CASINO games on this site.

We put $10 into each players account when they register, so they can try our games and tournaments at no cost or risk. Unlike many web sites we do not sell advertising neither do we sell or rent players personal information. We depend on players credit purchases to pay our expenses and pay the cash prizes. We offer a service that costs a lot of money for us to provide, and we must have income from users receiving this service to stay in business.

At some point we may ask a player to make a credit purchase if they have not yet done so. If the player elects not to make a credit purchase we may at our discression de-activate that players account. Our bandwidth is limited so we periodically have to de-activate players that do not help support our site to make room for new players. Tournament Games Staff

HOW THE TOURNAMENTS WORK

This game site is all about players competing against each other in online tournament games. You will play a game and when that game is completed your score is automatically posted to our game server. Your score is compared to other scores in that tournament and your rank of that game will be immediately displayed. You will see up to the top 25 the top scores and player usernames. You can enter any tournament as many times as you want as long as the tournament is open. Each score is kept in the database and a player could hold several positions in the standings

Each player automatically develops a Skill Rank which is an indicator of that players Skill Level Each new player starts out with a skill rank of 100 and this Skill Rank will be re-calculated at the  completion of each tournament. If you play multiple times in the same tournament only your best score will be consider in the Skill Rank calculation. The higher you finish in a tournament the higher your Skill Rank will be.

Each different Game has tournaments currently available for 3 different Skill Levels and a player can only enter tournaments for their Skill Level. The tournament are divided in to Skill Levels 1-9, 10-29,and 30-100. Some tournament may be for skill ranks 1-100 and these are for all players. The Skill Level category 1-9 is for the best players, 10-29 for the next best and 30-100 for the new players. Each Player can only enter tournament appropriate for their skill level. This is automatic so you cannot accidentally enter a tournament that is not for your skill level.

We currently have 3 different type tournaments:
TIMED, SPRINTS, and LIMITED ENTRY (LE).
A Timed tournament will run for a certain length of time,
A Sprint tournament ends when the 1st player reaches a target Score or Level
And the Limited Entry when a certain number of player have entered the tournament.

TO PLAY

To play in a tournament you first must login . A player can log in with username GUEST and password GUEST to try the games but those players cannot win any prize money and can only play the FREE tournament. If you have registered you can log in with you username and password that way the scores can be posted to your name/account.

After you login you will see a Game Select page. You click on one of the games then you will see a Tournament Select list. This shows details on all the available tournaments for that game. Click on one of the lines. Select the tournament of your choice in the appropriate Skill Level group and that tournament will highlight. After the tournament is highlighted click on the Play button and the game will start.

You then begin playing the game. After the game is finished your score is automatically sent to our Game Server where it is compared to all the other scores of that tournament. You will then see the Tournament Standing page where you can see how your score ranks with the other scores in that tournament.

You then exit the Tournament Standings page and that will take you back to the Tournament Select page where you can enter the tournament again or enter a different tournament. At this point you can exit back to the Game Select page if you want to select a different game.

All Scores are kept in the database and a player can hold several positions in the Tournament Standings.
All our games are games of skill and your scores will improve with practice.

ALL games have free tournaments so new players should start out playing the FREE tournament until you learn you way around the games and the tournaments. After you understand the games and the tournaments you are ready to try your hand at some of the cash prize tournaments and use the some of the free $10 credits. After your free $10 credits are used up you can continue to play in the FREE tournament or you can purchase credits via a Credit Card, PayPal, Money Order, or Personal Check.

Our sites expenses and Cash Prizes are supported by Players Deposits and hopefully, the FUN and entertainment value you receive from our games and tournaments will justify an occasional Purchase of Game Credits.

Each Player is allowed only one registrationand we allow 2 different players to register from the same household. Each player is only allowed to collect the FREE Credits one time only . Players that violate this rule are subject to having their account frozen and being suspended from playing at this site. A free account does not entitle a player unlimited free accessto our games. Our site is made possible through the contributions of our players by the purchasing of game credits. If you decide not to purchase credits, yet continue to play for an extended amount of time, your account will be eligible for suspension by the Tournament Games management.

Players that have MULTI REGISTRATIONS may have their accounts disabled
Players that attempt to CHEAT us or other Players will have their accounts disabled.
Players that attempt to HACK our games, our tournaments, or our web site will have their accounts disabled..
Players that commit CREDIT FRAUD at our site will have their accounts disabled.
Players that enter FRAUDULENT INFO or their registration form may have their accounts disabled.

Stalled Tournament Policy
We consider a Tournament "STALLED" if it has not received any entries during the past 7 days. This happens if we develop a tournament that players do not like or if a player gets a very high score that no one thinks they can beat.

We check for stalled tournaments, and we may close any tournament that is STALLED early. If it is a limited entry tournament we will Pro-rate the jackpot. For example if a limited entry tournament has 50% of the required entries filled we will pay 50% of the jackpot. If its a SPRINT or a TIMED tournament we will refund all entry fees.

When we close a stalled tournament, we look at the history of that tournament. If the history of that tournament indicates that it is not popular or has recently become not popular that tournament will be removed permanently from our site. If it appears that it stalled because of an unusually high score that tournament will remain.
